The clous briefing of 14.04.2022

The weekly insight into the world of mechanical engineering with Claas Blume

Low performers remain low performers. Whether working from home or in the office. 🤷

Sounds pretty harsh, but in my opinion it's indisputable. The same applies to high performers, of course.

Why this topic? ➡️ It's day 26 anno home office duty 📆.

That means, employees:

✅ must return to the office ❓
✅ may return to the office ❓

Well, what do employees actually want? That's where opinions (justifiably) differ. Especially among employees!

The topic of #newwork is inevitably something I deal with as a manager. On the one hand, because it is my duty and responsibility.

On the other hand, I also find the topic incredibly interesting and am convinced that there is still a lot of untapped potential here in terms of work quality and employee satisfaction.

At clous GmbH, we will hold an internal workshop on this topic to exchange ideas about how we want to work together in the future.

Fraunhofer IAO had already conducted a study last year, and the second one has just been published. The content of the study is discussed in the article in konstruktionspraxis, which I grabbed for today's clous briefing.
