Innovation in a social and economic context!
Thomas Vorsatz and Claas Blume have been awarded the Innovation Award of the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Produktentwicklung e.V. (WiGeP). WiGeP is a competence network of more than 40 active renowned professors in the fields of machine elements and systems, methods and processes of product development, virtual product development and teaching and training.
For us, the Innovation Award is a special honor because it comes from our own technological community and appreciates the path that Thomas and Claas have taken with clous GmbH.
I would also like to especially thank Rainer Stark for the nomination. But much more we would like to thank for the mentoring and the great support! Now and during our time at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPK.
We would also like to thank the board of WiGeP Dieter Krause, Roland Lachmayer, Sven Matthiesen, Karsten Stahl and Sandro Wartzack.
WiGeP cooperates closely with industry and science with the aim of stimulating the development of new products and bringing them to market maturity. On the one hand, this is achieved through close cooperation with the industrial circle, which includes about 100 executives from industry. On the other hand, WiGeP is advised on overarching strategic issues by an advisory board made up of outstanding personalities from the management of companies.
